Applications are once again open for "SICE – Productive Innovation" for projects promoted with the following objectives:
- Creation of a new establishment
- Increasing the capacity of an existing establishment;
- Diversification of an establishment's production to products not previously produced in the establishment;
- Fundamental change in the overall production process of an existing plant.
It has become crucial for the country's development to improve the productive capacity of SMEs, develop innovative, digital and sustainable solutions and increase qualified employment.
These projects aim to strengthen the competitiveness of Portuguese companies, through differentiation, diversification and innovation.
Operations may also aim at the adoption of new, or significantly improved, manufacturing, logistics and distribution, organisational or marketing processes or methods.

Application Period
The application period for the Productive Innovation program began on April 30, followed by the analysis and decision process carried out according to the following phases:
- Phase 1: completion on 16/09/2024 (19 hours)
- Phase 2: completion on 30/12/2024 (19 hours)
Duration of applications:
• 24 months (except in cases of individual financing)
